Normally got 25K per set of tires on the Mazda 5. Already have 30K and still have half tread since I switched from Hankooks. Just bought a set last week for my PT Cruiser convertible based on great wear and handling. Great performance and value for the price.
Great tires, great price, will buy again
Used two full sets for about 30K miles each. Great cornering, handling and traction. Develop flat spots in colder temperatures.
These are the best tires I have ever had for driving through the very sudden, torrential rainstorms we have in Florida. I have put 50,000 mostly highway miles on them and just now feel like they should be replaced. I will purchase the same tires again.
I have a 95' tbird with extensive modifications to it. It's a 4.6 V8, supercharged, performance suspension with Eibach 1.6" lowering springs, as well as many other mods. I am running 17" wheels with 245/45R17 up front and 275/40R17 in the rear. Even with over 10 1/2" of rubber on the ground at each rear tire, I have traction problems. Dry roads aren't bad, but I have had better. Wet conditions are terrible, borderline unsafe. Barely touching the gas I get wheelspin. If I'm on it hard I have always spun the tires when it shifts from 1st to 2nd and from 2nd to 3rd. And it's an automatic. But it was minimal. With these tires in the rain the back end completely gets loose and the car almost gets sideways. I replaced the Vogue signature v black tires with these, and I wish i hadn't. I do not recommend these Coopers under any circumstances. They are junk/unsafe in wet or snow.
Great tire...handles the snow as good as any all season tire does. We have lots of experience with that here in Iowa. I am getting ready to replace the set I have on my car now. Got 42,000 on this tire which is rated at 40,000 with spirited driving. One of the few times I have surpassed the treadwear rating on a tire.
As far as performance tires go, these are the best on wet and snowy conditions for the price. I'm going today to get 2 new ones.
Looking forward to buying my next tires coming up soon.
Great tire! Surprisingly good in the wet, and very predictable at limits. Would definitely buy again and recommend to others!
Great tire for the price
This is my "fair weather" car. The tires are much quieter than the Michelins that were on it. Cornering traction is improved also with better feel.
Amazing tire! Great stopping power and very responsive! Highly recommended.
Great all-around performance but got nowhere close the 40K miles. Only got 27K. I understand that Mazdas are hard on tires with the negative camber, but I still expect more life from the tires with regular rotations.
These tires have excellent grip. I've gone into corners at ridiculous speeds on open roads (only when dry!), and the car just drops from 70 km/hr to 30 as I hit the brakes, takes the turn and pulls out at up to full throttle - all without a squeak! Unfortunately the tires develop flat spots overnight (like many high-speed rated tires with nylon reinforcement inside), so the car shakes a bit in the morning until the tires warm up. I notice this because I live near a highway, so I reach over 80 km/hr within 2 minutes of leaving home. The other downside is that the tires make the car feel heavier and sluggish around turns (higher steering effort), even though it can take the turns faster.
From the day these tires were put on my car I have experienced an outstanding drive and better control in dry and wet conditions. I haven't had the chance to drive in the snow yet since it is still summer but if it handles as well as it does in wet and puddle covered roads then I have no doubt that it will be great in the snow as well. I highly recommend these tires!
I've had these tires less than a month. They're downright scary. I've found that they break away in turns way too easily, and lose traction under hard acceleration at highway speeds. I won't be buying another pair. I bought these due to Consumer Reports' review... never again!
